Made in my spare time in January-March '16, this project was based on an original children's book story by myself and Sally Jones. The Hairwoof is a puppet made from wood and wool (and some metal). The project follows similar principles to the my first project 'Bitz the Whippet' - Again there were no drawings or designs and I placed restrictions on the materials I used and how long I spent working on the project. I chose to use mainly wood and wool with the intention of creating something that resembled a marionette or a vintage toy. Much of the design evolved from the functionality needed for the puppet to stand on 4 legs as well as 2. I only did some fun test sequences with the puppet.
